TEEN WRITING BOOTCAMP
MS BRENDA MEINHOLD - TEACHER
For students between 13 and 18 years of age, the State Library is running the Teen Writing Bootcamp again this year.
The purpose is to give students first-hand experience with authors, journalists and poets to encourage you to find your style of writing. It is online but interactive.
This is a great opportunity to see and hear options students might like to try.
Registration is online and but parental consent must be provided.
Log into the State Library Online information page and look for the Teen Writing Bootcamp Information Session. Although the first information session occurred on Tuesday, we will have access here at school to show it in the LRC.
The first section is a series of introduction sessions where students will meet the Bootcamp leaders who are writers and performers in various styles – for example, novelists and slam poets.
The next introduction session will be held on Wednesday, 23rd February from 5:00pm – 5:45pm.
The actual Bootcamp will run during March and June.
