Carlsruhe Annexe /

Main Campus - Year 4

Year 4 / Carlsruhe

After only 3 days, the Carlsruhe students are already adapting to the new routines of our special campus, demonstrating enthusiasm and organisational skills during both classroom and outside activities. Working in teams, they are learning to look after the guinea pigs, chickens and sheep, and use tools to complete jobs and tend the gardens.

We have been especially impressed with the patience and care students have shown when handling our animals and the support they have given each other to help develop skills and confidence.

The construction of cubbies are well underway, with imaginative design ideas such as shops using pine cone currency and even a performance stage already taking shape. We can’t wait to see how these ideas develop over the next few weeks.

During the holidays, three large, new picnic tables have been constructed to enable us to make even greater use of our amazing campus for outside learning. These were very welcome during the first hot days this week!

Animal Roster

The animal roster for the first rotation (CU1 and CU2) will be going out early next week, so please check the newsfeed on Compass and let us know if you have any preferred or unavailable dates we need to know about before we finalise this.
