Principal's Report - Mr Pitt
Dear Parents/ Carers,
STAFF NEWS
Mrs Terzian commences maternity leave this week. We wish her well for the safe arrival of baby #2 and we thank her for all the work she has been doing in the literacy area, targeting many students across the school. We look forward to hearing the special news.
RATs GOING HOME
Thank you for your cooperation with the distribution of the Rapid Antigen Test (RATs) kits this week. All RATs went home with children yesterday. Please make sure the kits are not left in bags and are in a safe and secure location, ready to be used in Weeks 5 and week 6.
BIKE VISITS WITH MR PITT
This week I have visited some of our special staff at Fairvale PS – our very important staff in non-teaching positions. These people ensure our school is well organised, safe and friendly. Check out some of the photos in this edition of the newsletter.
MEET THE TEACHER RECORDED SESSION
Due to the current procedures, we have decided to do something a little different this year. Meet the Teacher is important to us and we feel that our approach in 2022 is a good one. All classroom teachers will be recording a 5 to 10-minute message for our families. During this time the teachers will talk about learning programs and general class information. On Monday you will receive more information, including our the ‘Two stars and a wish’ sheet for families to complete and return to school.
REPEATED: REMINDERS TO START THE YEAR
We are just about over the busiest time of the year, so I thought it was important to remind families of a few important issues—updating of details, family court matters and allergies/ medications. You will find information regarding these issues in this edition of the newsletter.
REPEATED: STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK
All adults on site will be healthy and ready to work and we expect the same for our children and their families. If they are unwell at school you or your nominated emergency contact will need to collect them immediately. Please make sure your contact details are up to date. Check out the link below.
