Year 12 Information Night

On Monday 7 February parents/carers had an opportunity to meet their child's home group teachers or pathway mentors. During the evening families...

• met the Careers team
• met the Senior Secondary team
• learnt about SAC (School Assessed Coursework) tasks. What they are and when they are done
• heard about the Work Placement program for VCAL students
• heard about supports in place at the College for students
• gained added confidence, as parents, to approach the school, remembering you are always welcome at any time to come and seek information!
• expectations of Year 12 students regarding school; lunchtimes; driving to and from school as well as the productive use of study times.

Year 12 is a team effort with parents, students and teachers working together to make the year both enjoyable and successful. This was a very positive beginning, thank you to everyone who attended.
