Interschool Sports

Well done to all students that tried out and participated in our inter school sports program this term.

We had the following teams compete in the division inter school sports:

Intermediate - Year 9 and 10 Boys and Girls Volleyball and tennis.
Year 7 Boys and Girls Volleyball and tennis.
Year 8 Boys and Girls Volleyball and tennis.

Congratulations and well done to the Intermediate boys volleyball team and the Year 8 girls volleyball team who won their division. They will progress to play in the Regional tournament.

The Intermediate boys volleyball grand final was played against Craigieburn Secondary College. Edgars Creek won the first set with Craigieburn winning the second set bringing it to a deciding third set. Well done to the boys who saved a match point and went on to win the game.

The Year 8 girls volleyball grand final was played against Hume Grammar. Edgars Creek won the first set, with Hume winning the second set. Well done to the girls demonstrating fantastic team work and serving to win the game.
