Year 9 History

Post-exams, Year 9 History students had the opportunity to undertake their own History Passion Project.  They were able to identify a person, place or event that interested them in History, research it and present their findings to the class through any form that they chose.  The Project enabled the students’ to showcase their personal interests and refine their presentation skills that they had worked on throughout the year.  Topics ranged from:  Sidney Kidman, the Emu War, Chernobyl,  ‘Fun’ facts about the Titanic, Henry VIII and his 6 wives – including a song from Six the Musical.  Students enjoyed sharing their interests and hearing of their peers’ interests.
