We have all done it together – students, teachers, support staff, boarding staff, parents and carers, and all KWS families! What a school year and what a 2021!
This last term in Junior School, we have been looking at the many names of Jesus. Last chapel we thought about Jesus being prophesied as the Prince of Peace, in these words ascribed to the prophet Isaiah in Chapter 9 Verse 6.
For a child has been born for us,
a son given to us;
authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
As we wait expectantly this Advent to celebrate God’s arrival on earth in a lowly stable, may you experience anew the peace that passes all understanding. May you have opportunity to breathe in the calm of the conviction that God holds all things – all that has happened this year, all that has happened before, and all that is still to come. May you rest in the knowledge that the hope which came to the world in that little child still resides with us.
I look forward to journeying 2022 with the KSW community.
God bless, safe and fun holidays,
Rosalie
