The KWS staff touch football team opened their season with a 3-2 victory on Tuesday night, Mr Tayak and Mrs Caro scoring tries in a tight victory. Miss Cuming was instrumental in defence as the opposition struggled to break the line. Team manager and coach Mrs Holland spoke at the press conference after the game, highlighting a few key areas the team needs to work on for next week, including working hard to get back onside and making sure we have numbered uniforms moving forward. Mr Tayak oversees recruitment and sponsorship for this season, if you would like to get on board, please contact him.
U12 ‘s added another win to their account with a comfortable victory on Saturday the 4th December. Taking the season stats so far to 3 wins and a loss. Daniel Rourke doing the damage at the top of the order with a wicket off the very first ball of the innings. A run out the very next ball followed by a catch to Tom Hughes had the opposition in big trouble early. They did however regroup to finish on a total of 83.
Vivaan Desai and Max Kenny bravely opened the batting for KWS against some quality opposition bowling. After seeing off the new ball both were unfortunately run out looking to increase the run rate. Hamish Buckley (16 not out) and Tom Mason (28 not out) batted confidently through the middle overs to lead KWS to victory.
