Performing Arts Co-curricular - 2022

Although we are still awaiting NSW Health advice for music ensembles for 2022 in schools, we are hoping that we can resume and reinvigorate our fabulous co-curricular program with the return of the following ensembles.

Strings Program – Year 1 String Program, Beginner Strings & Junior String Orchestra

Band Program – Beginner Band & Junior Concert Band

Choral Program – Stage Choirs & Koristers (Years 5-8)

Percussion – Junior Drum Corp (Years 4+)

Dance – Beginner Dance Ensemble (Years 1-3) & Intermediate Dance Ensemble (Years 4-6)

We will contact families at the beginning of the school year about the sign-up and try-out process.

Many thanks to our wonderful team of visiting staff, who have kept our students playing their instruments during the many disruptions this year has brought. We are grateful to work with such a talented, experienced and supportive team of musicians. 

Individual Tuition 2022

2021 has been a very difficult year and we have been grateful that our students have been able to continue with their performing arts individual lessons throughout this period. These lessons are essential, and they underpin our vibrant co-curricular ensemble program.

We’re looking forward to ensemble groups re-commencing in 2022, and we await government advice to this effect.  In the interim, individual lessons enable our students to continue to develop their musical skills.  Many students achieved outstanding results in both AMEB and IMEB examinations this year despite ongoing restrictions.

Individual lessons will recommence in Week 2 of Term 1, 2022.  Please complete this form by as soon as possible to secure your child’s enrolment for 2022.

Only The Theatre For Me – Year 5-6 Virtual Show

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions last term, we were unable to present our Year 5-6 production of Giants in the Sky. Undeterred, we decided to bring the excitement and magic of live theatre to the virtual stage. Here is a performance of ‘Only the Theatre for Me’ from our 2021 lead cast along with chorus choreography from Years 5 and 6.  I am sure the quality of this performance will give you a little taste of things to come in 2022. 

Thank you to all our families for your ongoing support of our program through 2021. Despite the challenges that this year has thrown our way, we have continued to maintain instrumental tuition and very much look forward to revitalizing our program next year.
