All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
R U OK DAY
Yesterday we celebrated R U OK Day. Our SRC leaders handed out stickers at the gate and spoke to our students about checking in with their friends throughout the day. Lots of our classes had a special focus on the importances of the four step process of checking in asking R U OK? Listening with an open mind, encouraging people to take action by talking to a trusted adult and then circling back to checkin again a few days later.
St Louis Street Ball Tournament
This week we started a Street Ball (Basketball) Tournament which is being run with our Year 5 and 6 students. The up take has been amazing with 11 teams participating all teams have shown great sportsmanship and teamwork, we look forward to continuing this next week.
