Chinese Mid- Autumn Festival
The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month when the moon is full. This year it occurs on 10th September. It is also known as the moon festival and celebrated in some South-eastern Asia countries. The Mid-Autumn Festival has a history of over 3,000 years. It is a tradition for families to gather together and eat mooncakes on the night of the Mid-Autumn festival. The movie “Over the moon” is based on the legend of the festival.
