Secondary Snow Trip
On Thursday 11 August, it was with great excitement from both staff and Secondary students that we were able to go on the snow trip to Mount Baw Baw to enjoy some downhill skiing and snowboarding.
With many students learning to ski and snowboard for the first time, students had group lessons first thing in the morning to learn how to safely enjoy the day by either skiing or snowboarding.
Well done to all the students, as by the end of the day all students were able to make it down the slopes for a good portion of the runs without falling over! We were very blessed with enough snow on the slopes and with beautiful weather that did not leave us too wet or too cold.
A huge thank you to parent helpers, Mrs Jodie Mazzini and Mr Morgan Scott for assisting on the day, as well as staff members Mr Pete Bunyon, Mrs Dayna Chu and Miss Christy Marshall. Very big thanks to Mr Darren John for organising the whole day and making it possible for the secondary students. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by all, and I am sure we are all looking forward to next years snow trip!
