Trivia Night - Thank you All
Wow what a great night our P&F Trivia Night was! Over 330 geniuses in one room, all spectacularly dressed as John Couani and 2 geniuses (John and Maree) dressed as Pharaohs. Thank you so much for everyone for making this night such a success where over $20k was raised for our clubs.
Thank you to the clubs for putting on this amazing event – Mrs Cathy Thompson who coordinated the club hub mega raffle and the keep cups with two broken arms, the wonderful clubs and all their helpers – PAPA, Football, Rugby, Cricket and Basketball. This is a group of parent volunteers that run the clubs that all your boys use and everything we raised at Trivia goes to those clubs! And to those who helped on the day with set up, packaging hampers etc again thank you! Without our amazing community these events are not possible.
Thank you to our amazing P&F who contribute so much to the Trivia Night – Julie, Louise, Braelen, Rossana and all the committee.
To all the staff members who turned up on the night and those who give us so much support – Stuart Munday and Ben Williams in the Maintenance Team, Ann Brady, Hilary Fromager, Sarah Panozzo, Maxine Hunt, Lisa Sutton, and Jane Higgins in Administration and so many others.
We had a lot of local businesses who donated to our evening. They were MC Dental Care, Monash Country Club, Climbfit St Leonards, DY RSL, Australian National Maritime Museum, Rugby Australia, Precision Golf, Big Music Crows Nest, Motza Pizza, Giants Netball, Hagartys Complete Roofing, The Avenue, Crunch Fitness Chatswood, Repco, The Longueville Sporting Club and Chatswood RSL. We had so many families donate holiday houses, muscle cars, hampers, vouchers and so much more – thank you all so much. And our wonderful SPX Music tutors and uniform shop – thank you also.
Staff Thank you Breakfast – Friday 23 September
One of our favourite days of the year is coming up – our annual staff thank you breakfast. We’re so lucky to have so many wonderful staff at St Pius X College, and while a breakfast will never say thanks enough to them, it’s a great morning and opportunity to look after them for a change!! We will be after some helpers for anyone available – please put your name down here:
P&F AGM
- Term 4 AGM - 31 October. All positions will be vacated and we're looking for new members as many of our team have their last boy in Year 12 this year. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about this great fun group! A new principal, a new P&F - a great opportunity to be involved.
