Solway Snowsports

After a two year layoff due to Covid, Solway Primary School entered a Snowsports Team of four competitors in the Victorian Inter-School Snowsports Championships at Mt Buller. Grace H (year 1), Henry M (year 2), Amaya W (year 3) and Millie H (year 4) all showed great resilience and attitude in their events, braving 100km winds and last minute course changes to record excellent times in their events.

Congratulations to each of the participants in representing the school at the State Championships.

Results:

Grace H: 8th in Ski Cross and 25th in Alpine Giant Slalom (GS) Henry M: 43rd in Alpine GS Amaya Wi: 113th in Alpine GS Millie H: 6th in both Alpine GS and Ski Cross Grace and Millie both qualified for the Australian National Championships in Perisher NSW in September 2022.
