Student Achievement Awards - 20/02/2023

Amy, congratulations on the diligent and enthusiastic attitude that you demonstrate throughout all class tasks. It was great to see your fantastic thinking when you created your own version of 'Pig the Pug'. 'Pig the Fairy Bat', who steals everyone's candy.

What a terrific start to Foundation you have had Abigail. This week you made a new version of 'Pig the Pug'. You drew a fantastic 'Pig the Princess' that had a tiara and wand. You should be so proud!

Well done for showing such enthusiasm and putting so much effort in to every task this week! On our trip to Como House on Friday you were such a respectful visitor and demonstrated our school values of respect and kindness brilliantly.

Congratulations on your fantastic reading skills that helped you work out the problem in the story of Alexander's Outing and then look at different ways you could solve it. Your writing up of the different ways was also excellent work. Keep it up.

Well done on a great start at Syndal South Vihaan. You show respect to your teacher and classmates by always putting up your hand and listening carefully. You also managed to find SO many ways to measure your piece of tape!! Keep up the great work!

Great work this week Oliver! You used two of your writing seeds to create a Picollage all about why 'Our School is the Best!'. You used emphasis in your reasons and thought carefully about your design by choosing to use the school colours. Excellent effort!

Benji, well done on writing three excellent reasons for why our school is the best. You included words that add emphasis and you published your writing in an eye-catching way using PicCollage. You also showed our school value of care by helping your classmates when you were finished. Congratulations!

Well done Pearl on the wonderful learning you have achieved in maths this term. It was fantastic to see you using your knowledge of place value when building larger numbers with MAB and when solving addition on a hundreds chart.

For wonderful work in writing. Kiera used excellent descriptive words in her stamina writing and included the simile "The helicopter blades cut through the air like a pair of scissors." Well done Kiera!

Congratulations Kathryn on your positive attitude to learning. Your contributions to class discussions about our mentor text Grandad's magic have been insightful and add value to the conversation. Well done.

Congratulations Eva for demonstrating a positive attitude when completing this week’s homework task. Eva had to write a paragraph about New Year in Australia, New Year in China and her Chinese Zodiac sign. She produced a very informative and colourful poster. Eva also did a great job at reading the information beautifully to Mrs GP! Awesome work, Eva!

Congratulations Kaley on demonstrating amazing organisational skills. It is pleasing to see you strive hard to make sure your work is up to date and beautifully presented. You are a Super Star!

Congratulations Penny on the fabulous effort you have been putting into all work tasks, including your homework. Not only that, but your workbook is always amazing as well! Well done Penny, keep up the great work!
