Parents' Association

The Syndal South Parent’s Association had our first PA meet up last week and it was great to be able to meet in person.  We have a fantastic team of parents who have volunteered their time to support the Syndal South community.  

 

The PA funds and organises events throughout the year, including the Easter Raffle, the Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day stalls, the monthly second-hand uniform shop and the Helping Hands program.  

Welcome Morning Tea

It was wonderful to see so many parents from all year levels at this morning’s morning tea in the OSHC room.  We had many PA members on hand to answer questions about the school and to help with the uniform shop.  Thank you to everyone who came along, and we hope it helps you to know some more faces around the school.

 PA “Workforce” volunteers

Would you like to help out at the school occasionally, but don’t have time to be on the PA?  You can sign up for the PA Volunteer Workforce and be notified of upcoming events that need a few extra hands.

We will send you an email when we need more people to help out with an event, such as wrapping Easter Egg hampers, running a sausage sizzle or selling at the Mothers’ Day stall.  If you have time to help out on a day, we will welcome you with open arms. No commitment to come to every event, just come along if you have some time.

SSPS PA Footy Tipping

You are invited to join this exciting footy tipping competition and help the Parents' Association with fundraising for the school.  The more people in the competition the more money there is for prizes and for the school.  With only 14 more days until the first game for the season it is now time to join by heading to:

The cost to enter is $25.  Payment can be made by forwarding the $25 to the school office in an envelope with your name and tipping name on it.  Payment can also be made by EFT at the office.  Weekly prizes are up for grabs, as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd end of season prizes/vouchers.  Gotta be in it to win it!
