Tree Planting

At their first assembly last week our Grade 6 School Captains handed the Foundation students a tree to plant and nurture over the next seven years of their time here at Mullum Primary School.  Check out the planting photos:

2023 Buddies Program

Our 2023 Buddies Program is in full swing! The Grade 6 students got to know their Foundation Buddy through making some very creative Bio-glyphs, using details such as their birthdays, family members and interests.

The Buddy program has already helped our Foundation students feel more confident and supported in their transition to school. Our Buddies have also been developing their connections in the playground, with Grade 6 students seeking out their Foundation Buddy to play with them, show them around the school and support them.

The Buddies will get together fortnightly and aims to strengthen and develop the relationships between our Grade 6 student as leaders of our school community, and our Foundation students as they continue to settle into school life!
