Livcare Report Term 1,2023

To Our Livingston Kinder Community, 

Livcare (Extended Care) 2023 has started off well, with all of the children embracing the transitions and meeting new children.

Our roles in Livcare is to extend the children's learning whilst communicating with their teachers in each kinder group about their interests and needs for the day. We have been getting to know each other and sharing new ideas from their own kinder groups. We have also adopted a communication booklet so that the teachers of each kinder group can communicate any needs or issues that might arise in their own kinder session (sometimes Livcare is the last point of contact for parents at the end of the children's day). 

A Few housekeeping reminders: 

• Please provide a small snack separate to their group snack.
• A comfort toy. ( if needed)
• Spare clothes. Hats are provided. 
• Please phone or communicate to the teachers if your person for picking up has changed. 
• Pickup is at any time before 5.25pm in room 1. 
• Please ring the bell. As it can be quite busy upon pick up please be mindful of the door being opened by your children with families coming and going. It is paramount that your child's safety comes first.
