Teaching and Learning: INQUIRY

This term, our whole school concept focus is "Digital Technologies." This means, students will be making discoveries throughout their learning using the outcomes in the Digital Technology curriculum. 

To guide student's thinking, teachers follow the Model of Inquiry. This begins with tuning in, which activates prior learning to direct what the students need to learn. 

Throughout the school, each level focuses on a question to investigate for the term.

Prep: "How does technology support me in the classroom to be a great learner?"

1/2: "How can we use data and technology to be a great learning community?"

3/4: "How does Technology address the needs of our people in our community?"

5/6: "How do people use digital technologies to solve problems?"

Students are currently engaging in the Finding Out stage. Some great learning to ask about around the dinner table!

NAPLAN - Years 3 and 5

NAPLAN week begins on Wednesday 15th March for years three and five students. Teachers will be preparing students for this over the coming weeks. Students will  be undergoing practice tests through the Acara website. Please read the attached document for information or parents and carers.
