PLASTICINE FINGER PAINTING- GRADE 5/6

Grade 5/6 students have made a great start in the art room this year exploring the medium of Plasticine. Last year we created a lot of 3D work using Plasticine and this year we are exploring its 2D colour mixing, blending and smudging qualities through finger painting and smudging techniques using modelling tools. 

Students have loved exploring the texture, colour, tone and movement of a small plasticine painting experiment. Students apply the plasticine to a small piece of card in layers exploring the movement and texture using their fingers and modelling tools
