Family Life programs for parents

Family Life has teamed up with Stride Education to deliver Creating Confident Kids and Creating Confident Teens Workshops online. These workshops have come out of "identified needs" from schools across four local government areas to support Parents and Carers. 

 

Creating Confident Teens Workshop

A must attend for Parents and Carers living in the City of Kingston and Bayside City with Teens 12 – 18yrs old.

Cost: FREE but bookings are essential and spaces limited

FriYay's

A Bayside Council program

FriYay's at Peterson Youth Centre is your space to chill out, catch up with friends or make new ones and join in weekly wellness activities with our friendly and supportive Youth Workers. Sessions are running every Friday afternoon between 3:30pm - 5:30pm at Peterson Youth Centre ( @ the corner of Peterson Street and Highett Road). 

Launch:  This program will launch on Friday the 10 March, come down for our social connection activities!

When:    Friday's 3:30 - 5:30pm

Where:  Peterson Youth Centre, corner Peterson Street and Highett Road, Highett

Who:     Young people aged 10 - 25, who have a connection to Bayside through work, live, recreate, study or school

Mental Health & Wellbeing Hubs

Find out more about the Mental Health & Wellbeing Hubs, which are available to Victorians of all ages who have any mental health or wellbeing concerns.

Kingston Youth Services

Kingston's Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)

Kingston's Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) provides an important forum for young people to identify municipal-wide issues and opportunities, and advise Council about effective policy and service provision within the City of Kingston. 

The YAC provides opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills and be part of the decision making process. Young people would like to join the YAC they must be aged 12-25 and live, work or study in the City of Kingston.
