Father Son Day

The Marist Father-Son Day was held on Sunday 22 May at Riverlife Kangaroo Point.

About 30 sons and their fathers participated in the day, which comprised of adventure activities such as rock-climbing the Kangaroo Point cliffs, kayaking the Brisbane River and cycling the bikeway.

Fathers also participated in some facilitated, intentional conversations with their sons that assisted them to become even better fathers to their beloved sons.

The fathers and sons participated in the day with excellent spirit and enjoyed spending quality time together in an adventurous environment.

Acknowledgements to the Marist P&F Association for supporting the day, both with physical presence from Jim Gordon (President) and Paul Guy (Vice President) and with financial support to subsidise the cost for all families.
