Important School Information

School Safety
- Every time a student enters the classroom, they will have to sanitise their hands (the product has been provided by the Department of Education) Each classroom will be provided with hand sanitiser. When going outside for recess and lunch, students will also apply hand sanitiser to ensure that health and safety guidelines are being followed.
- While students are outside of the classroom, the school will have two cleaners on site, cleaning all surfaces inside the classroom. At this stage, our understanding is that these surfaces will be cleaned twice a day
- Unfortunately, students will not be allowed to bring personal items to school including jewellery, toys and other equipment. I am sorry but this does include Beyblades and Pokemon cards.
- All students need a labelled water bottle. Due to building works, students will have limited access to bubblers. They will have access to refilling their water bottles in the classroom if needed.
Schooling Times
The school will have a staggered start and ending to the school day.
- F/1 – Start at 8:50am and finish at 3:00
- 2/3 – Start at 9am and finish at 3:15pm
- 4/6 – Start at 9:15am and finish at 3:30pm
- The OOSH (before and aftercare) program will still be available to all families that need to access the service.
Late Arrivals and Early Leavers
- The expectation is that all students will be at school on time. Parents that will be arriving to school late will need to contact the school prior as no parents will be allowed to enter the school after 9:10 a.m. Students who are late to school will be picked up at the gate by a teacher.
- In the case of your child needing to leave the school early. Families will need to contact the office prior to the arrival. The child will be escorted to the front gate of the school to be collected.
The Front Office / Admin
For the remainder of the term, no family will have access to the front office. If you need to communicate with administration, please contact the school on 0499 417 181 call or text.
Assembly
There will not be any assemblies for the rest of the term. This is based on current advice by the Department of Education
Student Illness
Any student showing signs of illness, parents will be contacted for student pick up. If your child is showing any signs of sickness at home, please keep them at home. We have a non-contact thermometer, so if we have concerns we will check their tempera
After School Access
While we love seeing families interacting with each other at the school’s playgrounds, due to restrictions we are asking families to leave the school once they have collected their child. The playgrounds are out of action at this stage for all students.
