Flexible Learning in the Arts

What an interesting Term 2 we all had during our remote learning this year. This opportunity proved to us all that we are flexible and rose to the challenges ahead of ourselves.

Within all the Visual Arts all staff were able to engage students in many ways by using Compass, video conferencing, Google Hangouts, visiting virtual galleries and many more platforms. Although this was challenging for students and staff at times, being a creative subject didn’t stop us. Students were given the opportunity to produce many artworks on a digital platform or in a traditional way if they had materials at home.

Our students' curriculum continued as usual where they pursued their learning in researching, planning, exploring, developing final artworks and finally evaluating their work.

We are so happy to have our students back in the classroom as we have missed them greatly. Please enjoy some of the artworks produced during the remote learning.
