Social, Community & Fundraising News

THANKS FROM THE SALVOS

The Salvation Army would like to thank you for your generous donation to our 2013 Christmas Appeal. Your support was greatly appreciated.

Each year the Christmas Appeal enables The Salvation Army to provide support to those who otherwise may not be able to celebrate Christmas due to difficult circumstances.

It is because of the donation from you and others that our work of assisting those less fortunate was able to continue.

Over this past Christmas period, The Salvation Army was able to assist more than 300,000 people across Australia. We couldn't have done it without the support of Murrumbeena Primary School!

Once again, thank you for your assistance and for sharing the true meaning of Christmas

WELCOME PREP PARENTS DRINKS

Our first ever Prep Parents Drinks and Nibbles was well attended on Friday night.  The photos show that everyone had a great time.  The weather was kind and we had an alfresco affair, with fantastic catering supplied by the Grade 1 parents.  We hope to make this an annual event with the Grade 1 parents hosting the new Prep Parents.  A special thanks to the MPS Social, Community and Fundraising sub-committee, who co-hosted with the Grade 1 parents.

Looking forward

What do we have in store for 2014?
