IRC News & SAKG
WELCOME BACK!
Welcome back to school for 2014! What an exciting year we have ahead of us.
As part of our ongoing commitment to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation's eSmart program, we have an eSmart/Cyber Safety agreement. This encourages safe and responsible use of Learning Technologies and the Internet.
Students have all received the eSmart/Cybersafety agreement. Please read and sign these agreements and return them to your child's classroom teacher. This will enhance the partnership between the home and school, promoting the safe and responsible use of Learning Technologies.
I look forward to working with you all in 2014.

BOOKCLUB
Welcome back to Bookclub 2014.
Order forms for the first issue have been distributed to students and are due back on Friday February 8.
Please return all orders to your child's classroom teacher, and we ask that orders be paid online if possible. If not, please ensure correct change is given. It is important to remember to put all monies in an envelope or clingwrap/ foil. Parents may return prep orders to the IRC if there are any concerns about them being misplaced.
Thank you to all the families who support Bookclub, your dedication to the program allows the IRC to stock hundreds of extra items every year.
Happy reading!

SAKG (GARDEN) PROGRAM
Thank you to all of the garden volunteers and the children who came over their summer holiday to help in the garden.
Your efforts have assisted in keeping our garden thriving and it looks fantastic and is producing wonderful summer crops. A special mention to Lou McCracken and her girls, Arkie and Mia who were a wonderful watering team!
Thank you all and see you once again in the kitchen garden this year.
