Coding is introduced in Foundation with the use of Bee Bots. Bee-Bots are a programmable floor robot. It allows for the teaching of control, directional language and programming. Block programming is introduced in Team 1-2 using a Dash & Dot robot and these skills are extended as students progress in to Teams 3-4 and 5-6 using devices such as Edisons and Spheros. Apps such as Hopscotch, Scratch and Scratch Jr are also embedded into the program to further develop students' ability to solve problems using digital systems.
