Student wellbeing
With the holidays approaching we all wish you a restful and happy time over the next couple of weeks.
It is a great time to get back into favourite hobbies, enjoy the nice weather and time away from regular class schedules.
Study Success
Exams are getting closer and whether you are completing final assessments or preparing for VCE exams, here are some tips to follow to achieve study success.
The Reachout website has more information, related articles and videos on managing exam stress, remote learning and a range of other relevant topics.
https://au.reachout.com/articles/5-steps-to-study-success
For our senior students, it important to find that balance between study, completing coursework and looking after yourself by ensuring that you are taking good care of your body, mind and mental health by enjoying good nutritious food, having a regular sleep schedule and getting out to enjoy some exercise.
Managing anxiety
Over the school holidays, we want to make sure that if any students are experiencing some difficulties or struggling with their mental health, you can still access mental health support.
For students trying to manage anxiety, this program could be helpful. It’s a good way for students to manage their anxiety during this time of remote learning as well as during the holiday’s when they might not have access to wellbeing support at school. It also helps students learn to be more autonomous and learn that they can act intentionally to manage their anxiety.
