Interschool Sport Update 

What was set to be a bumper term for the Interschool Sporting Program turned out to be severely impacted by the lockdown restrictions. Box Hill High School had seven EMR team events that were scheduled to take place this term, as well of the Division Track & Field Carnival, all of which have currently been postponed. Despite these postponements, our Year 7 Boys AFL team was able to participate at the Eastern Metropolitan Regional level. Although they were unable to proceed to State, the team played with spirit and made the school proud - well done! 

Event Cancellation Policy 

With the extension of lockdown, securing venues for postponed events is becoming ever more difficult. It is the priority of the SSV Division to run as many of the scheduled sporting events as possible, however it is becoming clear that some cancellations may be inevitable. If parents have paid for an event, but that event must be cancelled, a credit will be issued for the student to utilize for a future excursion or sporting event. Updates on when events are rescheduled or must be cancelled will be communicated through email via the Compass events and to students via the Interschool Sport channels on Teams.
