NSW PSSA Cricket Competition

Last week two of our talented cricketers participated at the NSW PSSA Cricket Competition in Woolongong. Tom Barnes and Fred Finlayson, along with their Polding Team, played four games over the week against the states best primary cricketers.

The boys first game was against Sydney South West. Sydney South West made a competitive 125 but was no match for Polding as they chased down the total only losing two wickets. The second day saw Polding take on a very strong South Coast team. South Coast made an impressive 190 with Polding getting bowled out for 95. The next game was against a determined North-West team. Polding started brilliantly posting an imposing 190 with Fred Finlayson starring with the bat making an impressive 51 not out. North-West batted exceptionally well, chasing down the total in the last over of the day. The final game against Sydney West was another close game. Polding posted another strong score of 170 with Tom Barnes making an impressive 62 at the top of the order. In the end, Sydney West proved too strong scoring the total with two overs remaining.

Well done to both our Polding Cricket representatives, we are all very proud!
