Hello how are you

Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief

Have arrived in Taree @ One Life Church at 75 Muldoon Street. Samaritan's Purse are manning the relief semi-trailer from 8:30am each week day - from today! Samaritan's Purse is an extension of Operation Christmas Child and they are here wanting to be part of our community.

They are setting up and volunteers are arriving tomorrow. You can do three things:

1. Book either by contacting the College and speaking with Heather or by going to the website https://manningvalley.recovers.org/ putting in your request for support or you can just visit them at One Life where they will be only too happy to have a chat!

2. You can join them as a volunteer, you will need to visit the website

https://manningvalley.recovers.org/ and register or you can go to One Life and see them

3. There is a high demand for loan caravans and camping gear. Donations of white goods, furniture and camping gear would be greatly appreciated.

Please note there is no more need for food and clothing donations.

Congratulations Chanel!

Chanel Liefting has followed the footsteps of her family and has become licenced to race in a Junior Dragster.  Chanel had two further runs to complete her licence and was eligible to compete at her first event.  Chanel passed these tests in great style and then qualified for the days racing at the ATURA track Championship round.

We were hoping just to further her experience but did not expect what was to unfold.

Chanel went into her first race with a confident knowledge of what she needed to do and performed outstandingly. Her opponent left too early and fouled out giving her a first round victory!

The next round was against the current series points leader and Chanel managed a perfect reaction time (0.000 seconds reaction to the green light – which her father has never done…) and had a magnificent race enabling her to win by 0.068 seconds!

The wins kept coming and after four rounds Chanel made it to the Final to the amazement of her peers, officials and her family.

The Final was another thrilling race and to our disbelief Chanel received the win light!

In her first ever day racing she had beaten some of the most experienced racers to win the event!

This is an incredible achievement and we are so very proud of her.

And so are we!!! Well done Chanel!!

Cows Create Careers entrant winners

Congratulations to the Darling Dairy Delights (Lucy Connon, Tom O’Malley-Jones and Kaylee Green) for winning the MaxCare Advertising competition! We would also like to acknowledge Jade Simpson and Jessica Hickey for their outstanding voices as part of the film clip. It is a real credit to those involved, who put many hours and care into the outstanding advertisement. Thank you to MaxCare and Dairy Australia for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of this through the program ‘Cows Create Careers’.

Take a look at the award winning advertisement that the students produced!

Special Donation to the College

We would like to thank the McMurtrie family once again for their continued support of our College. Recently they kindly donated this magnificent puzzle constructed by their late daughter, Hannah McMurtrie. Hannah is a much loved former student of our College and in her memory an annual memorial awards is presented at our Secondary Presentation Night.
