Performance Theatre Refurbishment

We are super excited that the Performance Theatre renovation is almost complete.  With new wall and ceiling surfaces, black theatre paint, carpet, chairs, theatre curtains, acoustic paneling and a fixed sound and lighting desk, the PT has been brought into the 21st century!

Thank you to the P&F for their wonderful generosity in supporting this project.  Thank you also to our amazing Facilities Team – Brenton Hoskins-Murphy, Brad Kelly and Andrew Kennedy for their oversight and work on the refurbishment.  They have worked a miracle and both staff and students enjoy using the space.

Brass Studio Concert

Parents and friends were recently treated to a lovely concert by brass students from Victoria Chatterley’s studio. From beginner to advanced, students presented repertoire from their upcoming AMEB exams.  Congratulations to all the students who performed and a big thank you to their amazing teacher, Vicky.

Piano Restoration

After many years of service, the Yamaha grand piano housed in room 68 is in much need of restoration.  We are incredibly lucky to have been able to secure the services of piano tuner and restorer, Nicholas Croft, who over the next six months will completely overhaul the piano.  This will involve new hammers, all new action, new keys and a full restring which will breathe life into this wonderful instrument.
