Technology Centre Opening & HSC Exhibition

The entire school community is invited to join us for the opening of our new 'Technology Centre for Metals & Engineering'. Located on the main driveway, opposite the bus bay, all of our families and students will have seen the building taking shape last year. 

It is now fully fitted out and has been in operation since Term 1. The HSC Major Works Exhibition will be your first opportunity to walk through and admire the building and equipment, as well as our students' great work. We hope you can join us - add the date to your calendar now!

‘Giants in the Sky’

This magical story explores the world of Giants who live above the clouds. Ever since they left earth a long time ago, the Giants have made their life ‘up above’, where their job is to make the sky beautiful. They polish the stars, poke the clouds to let it rain and paint the sunsets. But there is one curious Giant who wonders what life is like on Earth, so she steals a key to the locked-up beanstalk and embarks on an adventure ‘down below’.

Try Kinder Day

A fun, free morning for preschoolers (and their parents) to try out ‘big school’ PLUS a ‘Successful School Transition Strategies’ session for parents.

We’re inviting local preschoolers to come along for a fun morning of free activities at our ‘Try Kinder Day’. It's a great way for parents to start a conversation with your child about the move to ‘big school’.

The idea of big school is so exciting for four-year-olds … and that’s why we’re offering this special experience in a Kinder classroom with our lovely teachers. Your little one will do a literacy task, a book reading in the library, enjoy a movement class, have fun with Beebot Coding, and then meet a Kinder buddy for some yummy morning tea.

While the kids are having fun, we’ll provide a delicious morning tea for parents to enjoy, including a seminar for parents on preparing your child for a smooth transition to school.

Kinross Wolaroi parents are encouraged to share this information with friends and family from outside of the school community who may be interested in attending with their pre-school children.
