Year Five/Six News 

Welcome to Term 3 in Year 5/6! 

Delving right into our learning this term we are revisiting essential learning around the Reader's and Writer's workshop; looking again at how to listen to our reader's voice, create meaningful text responses, create seeds and writing a range of interesting texts. In Maths, we are learning all about fractions, decimals and percentages including how to identify, count, order and convert between them. 

Another exciting area of learning this term is Natural Disasters in Integrated Studies. This week we looked at how floods are formed, the damage they cause and how we can prepare for them. We formed scientific teams and investigated what happens to houses during a flood.
