Hello, from our students and teachers.

News from Room 9 - F/1L. (Nicole Lowe)
Literacy: Writers and Authors keep a Writer’s Notebook.
Our Writer’s Notebook is a collection or record of our memories, people/places/things/activities that we love. We then use our writer’s Notebook to inspire our ideas for writing.
Many of the children in our room made some holiday entries into their Writer’s Notebook. Here are some photos of our writing this week.
Numeracy: This week we have been revising number lines. We have worked on identifying numbers that are represented on a number line and placing numbers on a prepared number line.
We have started learning about money. We have set up a Pizza Shop in our classroom to help us learn more about money.
Over the term we will be learning to recognise, describe and order Australian coins according to their value.
Here are some snaps of our Maths this week.
