Recently we sent out our Placement Offers for Prep 2023. We ask all parents to return this offer to confirm their position, even if they have an older sibling at the school.
If you are moving to another state or will be exiting the school at the end of 2022, could you please advise the school office as soon as possible. We have a list of families trying to get into the school and we can only offer them a position if a vacancy becomes available. Confirming your intention really assists us to plan for the future. Many thanks.
Just a reminder that beanies are encouraged to be worn during the colder months of the year. Please note these need to be in line with our uniform policy- navy beanies not footy or multicolored beanies. You can purchase these from Kmart, Target etc. If you would like a super warm one with the school logo, they can be purchased at the school office for $10.
Last week the new sail covers were fully installed at both campuses and they look fantastic. We went with the school colours of blue and red.
The next step is to gain quotes to install synthetic grass underneath the sails so they are a great place for our students to "chill out". I have encouraged students (Student Voice) to suggest possible furniture for these spaces. No doubt, there will be some amazing suggestions, although a swimming pool might be financially out of the question!
I would like to sincerely thank the parents and Carers who attended the WebEx interviews and goal setting sessions in the first week of Term 3. As a school, we see these as an extremely important link with our parent community. It is only when we work together that we get the best results for the children in our care.
The teachers voluntarily give up their family commitments to ensure this event is successful and I thank them for the time and dedication they exhibit.
Well, it looks like we are finally going to be able to stage this big event after a stop/start couple of COVID years. The students and teachers have already started planning and rehearsing for this event and already there has been a great deal of laughing and enjoyment.
The concert will be held on Thursday 8th September, so please keep this date free. There is no limit on the number of tickets that each family can purchase.Tickets will go on sale August 8th.
Please refer to the Concert page of this newsletter for further details each week.
We will hold a second hand uniform shop on Tuesday 2nd August before school. Please refer to the brochure in this newsletter for additional details and prices.
Join us 3pm this Friday for our whole school assembly. The link is below.
Assemblies and newsletters will be each odd week this term.
Enjoy the rest of your week and have a fantastic weekend.
