Year 9 and 10 Camps

Preparations are beginning for the Yr 9 & 10 Outdoor Education Camp.  This promises to be a terrific experience for all students who will explore canoeing, initiative games, climbing walls, abseiling and a range of camping activities.  The focus of the camp is for students to challenge themselves by trying new things, developing resilience, friendships and wonderful memories.

Students will stay in tents and cabins.  A full list of clothing and equipment will be sent home with every student but we have also included a copy of this in this newsletter as parents and carers may wish to purchase some items now and take advantage of season sales etc.   Most importantly, given how cold it is, please make sure your child has thermals, a warm waterproof jacket and a suitable sleeping bag (3 season). 

We will be holding an information session later in the term but we wanted to allow families lots of time to prepare.  A full packing list is on the next page. We are greatly looking forward to sharing this exciting experience with our Year 9 and 10 students.
