Kitchen Operations Students Year 11 and 12

MOVENPICK HOTEL EXCURSION

On Friday the 22 July the Year 11/12 Kitchen Operations students were treated to a behind the scenes experience at the boutique Movenpick Hotel. The students toured the hotel's rooms and guest facilities including the heated pool and gym.They were also given the opportunity to observe the Miss Mi restaurant kitchen and talk with the General Manager, the Head Chef and the Food and Beverage Manager. The tour included a lovely lunch in the restaurant itself. The excursion opened up possible career opportunities for students in the booming hospitality industry.
