Australian Brain Bee Challenge (ABBC)

This week a group of Year 10 students competed in Round 1 of the Australia Brain Bee Challenge. Prior to the challenge, students had to complete online tasks to study numerous facts about neuroscience. They then tested their knowledge by completing an online quiz. We wait in anticipation for the results.

Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) Competition

On April 2 our Senior Mathematics Specialist students will sit the CAT competition. CAT competition is an online problem-solving competition that seeks to identify a student’s computer programming potential. Good luck to the students.

Australian Geography Competition

We wish the students in the chosen Year 10 Humanities classes all the best as they sit the Australian Geography competition in Weeks 9 and 10. They will be answering 40 questions in 35 minutes. I hope the students enjoy this challenging event.
