Broadway Junior’s ‘Beauty and The Beast’ is playing at Kingswood Primary School starting on Monday 11th September and is running for one week until Friday 15th September. The principal cast contains approximately 20 students directed by Louise McLeod, Zander Norris, Narelle Vella and Emma Costabile. The remaining Kingswood students form the ensemble cast. 

Broadway Junior’s Beauty and the Beast is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. 

There are still tickets available for each performance of Beauty and The Beast. Tickets can be purchased here.

You are welcome to purchase any additional tickets you need.

Shoe Reminder

Yesterday's Cast A Dress Rehearsal was absolutely amazing, however, as we are always 'striving for accuracy' at Kingswood, we noticed that some students did not bring their black canvas shoes for the dress rehearsal. 

To make the performance as realistic as possible all the students are requested to wear black canvas shoes as this adds to the authenticity of the performance.

If however you are unable to provide the black canvas shoes your child will be performing in bare feet. Please provide slippers or thongs for your child to wear to and from the hall.
