Interschool Athletics Squad – Year 7 to 12
Based on the results of the Fr Kevin King Cup, House Athletics Carnival, students have been invited to join the Interschool squad. Students should have received a letter in homeroom with details of events they have qualified in. For students in Years 7 – 10 the NAS Athletics Meet is on Tuesday 21 August at the State Athletics Centre. Students involved will receive details in homeroom.
A reminder to all students that athletics training has commenced. Training is on Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7am. Whilst students in the team are encouraged to attend, training is open to all students. Students need to attend the ACC carnival and a minimum of five training sessions to receive an ACC Athletics badge.
Staff and specialist external coaches will be present at each session. Students are to be ready on the track for a 6:55am team warm-up. Dates and times of training are below:

Firsts Rugby - John XXIII College v Christchurch Grammar School
Congratulations to the John XXIII College rugby team on their win against Christchurch Grammar School. It was great to see so many John XXIII College supporters at the game.
