Last week in the library, all grades were shown the video of the Apollo 11 launch, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and moonwalk. It certainly was a moment in time that will be remembered forever.

In August we will be celebrating Book Week with lots of fun and exciting activities. In case you are wondering, our annual Scholastic Book Fair will be held in October this year.

In this newsletter, I have included a few new release books that have recently been added to our collection. New books are being added all the time as we aim to keep the library collection fresh and interesting for the students and teachers.

Thank you to Mikayla from 4T, for making 2 beautiful Library Bags over the holidays. Mikayla sewed them herself and donated them to the library, for students who don't have a library bag.

George Ivanoff Visit

On Friday 23rd August, the famous author, George Ivanoff will be visiting Kingswood to talk to the students in Years 3 to 6. Please see the poster for details on how to order his books and receive a signed copy.
