RETURN TO COLLEGE FOR TERM 4  

All St Joseph’s College students will return to onsite schooling on Monday October 12.

YEAR 12 RETREAT REMINDER

Monday October 12 and Tuesday October 13.  Arrival on both days is 8.45am and the venue is the Sacred Heart Hall.

Dress is neat casual attire with closed-in footwear suitable for physical activities on both days.  Face masks, water bottles and hats required.

FOOTSTEPS OF FREDERIC

The closing date for the 2021 Footsteps of Frederic Program has been extended until Friday 16 October 2020.  Further information is available from Miss Paula Cox.

GAT OCTOBER 7

Reminder to students who are sitting the GAT, please ensure you have read all correspondence.  Arrive at the college no later than 9.30am and assemble in the LP area. Ensure you have completed the COVID-19 protocols at the house leader area. 

OCTOBER 8 - PRACTISE EXAMS/VCAL ESSENTIAL ASSESSMENT - NO YEAR 12 CLASSES 

Year 12 students have received a letter regarding logistics for the upcoming practice exams for English, Further and Specialist Mathematics which will occur on October 8. 

This is an invaluable opportunity for students to sit a practice exam with external supervisors under the same conditions as the end of the year exam period.  Students can gauge their understanding of content taught over the duration of the year and receive feedback heading into the final weeks of the school term.  The college will provide lunch on this day between the practice exams.   

FLINDERS UNIVERSITY TEST

Confirmed arrangements for the Flinders UniTest is October 20 at 2.00pm.  This exam duration is three hours.  Students who have expressed interest will receive college correspondence with further information.  If students are interested in this pathway, please contact Ms Fiona Dimasi as soon as possible.

SAC ALTERNATE ARRANGEMENT

In the second week of the holidays, students received email notification regarding outstanding SACs that need to be completed upon return to the college.  Students should have completed their SAC alternate arrangements documents with accompanying evidence and emailed these to Miss Eliza Weaver and myself.  Please ensure you have completed this link.
