Athletics Carnival

The 2020 Athletics Carnival was held on Friday 28 August and there was great participation and school spirit displayed.  And the winner is.... Benilde! Congratulations to all those who contributed to Benilde's fantastic house points total of 1031! 2nd was Merici with 813 points, La Salle came in 3rd (709) and Ursula 4th with 686 points. It was a great day and was wonderful to see so many students participating.

Track and Field Records

Three records were broken this year with Ben Fergusson breaking the 13 Years boys Triple Jump with 9.85 (Will Frost 2009 9.84), Emerson Fittler broke the 16 Years 100m record (David Tonkin 1984 11.58) with 10.87 and Nathan Czinner broke the 17+ Years boys Long Jump record (Bradley Ramage 2011 6.19m) with a massive jump of 6.29m!

Sport at School

Even though inter-school sport competitions are on hold due to COVID-19, our are fortunate to be able to participate in a variety of physical activities as part of their school day.  Contact sports are being avoided and COVID safe rules are being applied.
