P&F Teachers' Wishlist Update

The Music Room ‘wish list’ was to have enough ukuleles for one per student. We already had 12 instruments, but this generous grant from the P&F enabled us to purchase a further 13 instruments, which means that we now have a full class set. This is a great addition to the Music Room. Many thanks!

80s Rewind - Quiz Night
Wow! What a response we've had to ticket sales! More than 60% of tables are already sold. Don't miss out on what will surely be a like totally awesome event. Tickets are just $20 and can be purchased at http://www.trybooking.com/WTLI
As this is the school's biggest fundraising event of the year we're putting the call out to all you big hair rockers and double denim shockers to donate prizes for our raffles and games on the night. Donations can be as simple as a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates, toys raided from your re-gifting pile or vouchers for a store, salon, restaurant, experience etc. Nothing is too big or too small! Items can be placed in the box in the school office - you'll know it when you see it!
This year we are also offering the opportunity to sponsor the 80s Rewind event by making a monetary donation to the P&F. This is the perfect way to get your business name out there for the community to see. Sponsors will be featured on screen at the event and right here in the school newsletter. OLA School Disco Pyjama Party - Tonight!
See you all tonight for the ultimate Pyjama Party! Thank you to the wonderful parents who are supporting the event through volunteering - you're amazing! Don't forget that parents can sit in the multipurpose room throughout either session if they wish to stay on site. Of course siblings who are waiting for their session or who have finished their session are also welcome in the multipurpose room. Food, tea and coffee can be purchased from Rosie in the canteen and taken to the multipurpose room.
Don't forget to send some small notes or change along with your kids to purchase refreshments or party supplies such as glow sticks. The price list is below:

Resilience Kit - Kids and Anxiety Information Session
We have had an amazing response to this event and seats are now filled. If you missed out and would like us to have Resilience Kit come and speak at the school again in 2019 please let us know.
