ART

Here is some wonderful work from our very creative and talented Grade 1 & 2 students. So impressive to see so many students submit work in the last week of a very big term 3. Well done and thank you to all students and their families for your creative efforts. You should all be really proud of yourselves!

Mrs Morgan and Mrs Noyce would like to extend our warmest thank you and appreciation to you all.

Symmetrical Bugs

Explore symmetry and balance in art by creating symmetrical paper bugs. Begin by drawing half of a bug shape on the sides of a small piece of paper, then cut around these shapes and line up their half bug shapes on a large piece of paper to create the look of a full insect.

So proud of how our Grade 1 & 2 students have grasped the concept of Symmetry. You can clearly see from their wonderful work that they have clearly demonstrated their understanding while having some fun.

Spoonville Characters

We could not be happier with the response and contributions of your special ‘Spoony' characters to our Spoonville art installation. Some students have created their own Spoonville communities at home while others chose to join our school Spoonville communities at our Buninyong & Scotsburn campuses. I am sure you will agree there have been many wonderful characters created.

Creative Play time

Imaginary play (e.g. blocks, dress up, games, puzzles, role playing etc.) encourages word & sentence development, creative thinking, decision making, problem solving and the development of social skills. Have a look at the imaginative and created play invented by our Grade 1 & 2 students.
