                                      "WE'RE COMING TOGETHER for the REST of the YEAR."

The SRC are running a Weeden Community Project over the holidays for all our wonderful families. We have decided we would like to make a record of all the students and their families, who were at Weeden in 2020.

We chose the theme of BEES as they have a great working community, just like our families at Weeden Heights.

Each family is being asked to make a representation of themselves in the HEXAGON stencil (A4 size) which will be provided. We want all your immediate family members in the picture. It can be a drawing done by the students, a photo or a digital image (if someone is creative!)

** Students can also make a separate drawing in another hexagon, if they wish.

When students return to school, they are asked to bring back the work…(carefully stored in a plastic sleeve) so it can be displayed in a HUGE BEEHIVE. Look out for an email sent to parents, with the stencil and examples, sent through your parent representative this week.

WE can’t wait to get back together as a community next term and put together this exciting display. Have a fabulous holiday!
