Saturday 17th October was the 10th Anniversary of the canonisation of Australia's first saint, Saint Mary of the Cross (Mary MacKillop).
As a school, we celebrated this milestone on Friday 16th October. All classes participated in a prayer service and contributed to a school display, "In the Footsteps of St Mary of the Cross".

Sacraments
Dear Parents,
We have certainly journeyed the ups and downs of 2020 that has been dominated by COVID19.
For our children in Grade Three, Four and Six we face the reality that as a Parish Community we have been unable to celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation.
For our children who would have normally celebrated Reconciliation and First Eucharist this year, that celebration will now take place next year. The same will be for the celebration of Confirmation. Knowing that those children who would have celebrated Confirmation this year will see themselves in Year Seven next year, the parish will write to each of those families inviting them to celebrate Confirmation in 2021.
For all these three Sacraments we are still unable to give you a date as we still await to hear what numbers we can gather next year.
Please know that for the celebration of these Sacraments that were missed this year we will give you plenty of notice of dates and times. As soon as we can plan these celebrations we will let you know.
I pray that you and your families continue to keep safe and well. Both myself and our school communities look forward to when we can celebrate these important milestones of your son or daughters journey in faith.
Blessings
