Term 2 has definitely been one of the most extraordinary and challenging terms for all the staff and students in Callistemon, but every person has taken on this new way of learning with such positivity and determination and this should make us all proud.

Our teachers have been inspired to try new things while teaching from home, such as different online platforms and technology to support and engage all our students. 

Our students have done incredibly well. I would like to congratulate each of them for the way they have conducted themselves and the focus they have shown toward their learning.

Our attendance has been high across all year levels. I would like to make special mention of the high engagement and attendance shown by our Year 12 students who have shown such resilience at such a difficult time.

Our SRC, led by our Year 12 student leaders and House Captains, have met and shared some amazing insights and strategies with the students in their year levels to help them as they learn from home. This amazing team are keen to continue to work hard for all Callistemon students.
