TOMORROW NIGHT! Thursday 21 June
Join us at the winter solstice
This whole-school celebration, held in the magical grounds of Arlington, kicks off after school at 3.30pm.
The afternoon begins with a sausage or veggie burger, hot chocolate and mulled wine, music performances and viewing of the 10s & 11s solstice installations.
From 4.15pm we will light the fire, have an acknowledgement of country and assemble on the footy field to hear a winter solstice story told by Charlotte Jowett.
Watch the gorgeous lantern parade - the highlight of the evening - as our Primary students from the 3s up weave their way through the grounds, with lanterns they have designed and made themselves.
Soup (please bring your own cup) and desserts follow before the evening concludes around 7pm.
Merriment, food, fire light, lanterns, music – it’s all there, and we look forward to your company.
Formal fun
With the GAT now behind them, our Year 12s can look forward to their School Formal to be held on Friday night.
The numbers are in, the menu has been chosen, the photographer booked and the DJ sorted; all that’s left is to finalise their outfits!
Together with the Year 11s and invited guests, the Formal is a great chance to dress up and have fun with friends during their final year. We wish all attendees a fantastic and memorable night.
Parents are great ambassadors!
The next Open Morning at the Secondary School will be held on Monday 30 July from 9.15am to 10.30am. These mornings provide an opportunity for prospective families to visit the School and to meet the teachers and students in a range of open classes.
Parents are warmly invited to join us to welcome our visitors and generally help promote the School. If this appeals to you and you have some time on 30 July, please email me your availability.
